The Processing Records – Records of Processing Activities according to Art. 30 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Bitkom´s last guideline on the processing records, which was published in spring 2016, has been completely revised and adapted to the requirements of the GDPR. The importance of documentation of the company´s data processing activities is increasing because of the accountability obligations and transparency requirements of the GDPR. The guideline explains the terms and principles of the processing records and illustrates the process for creating such documentation. It also develops practical examples as guidance for implementation.
