As part of the European Green Deal, the European Commission is revising the EU’s legal framework to meet stricter climate targets and ambitions of a circular economy. The digital sector will have to meet new sustainability requirements while at the same time contributing significantly to reducing emissions in other sectors of the economy. This document provides an overview of the most relevant initiatives within the European Green Deal for Bitkom and its members.
