Six startups pitch at hub.berlin on 28 June | 10,000 euros in prize money is at stake in the categories Artificial Intelligence and EdTech
How can digital technologies enrich teaching in schools? Will teachers be able to use apps and notebooks instead of photocopies and textbooks in the future? And how can AI make the factory just as intelligent as the doctor's office? The answers to these questions will be found at the 15th Innovators' Pitch, for which the jury has now nominated the six finalists. They will pitch their ideas in the two categories Artificial Intelligence and EdTech at the hub.berlin business festival on 28 June 2023 at Station Berlin. "Digital education and artificial intelligence are two crucial topics for the future. With the Innovators' Pitch this year, we want to help startups gain more visibility who are setting global standards with their solutions in these areas," says Daniel Breitinger, Head of Startups at the digital association Bitkom. "This is what the big stage at hub.berlin is for - and it's the ideal place to bring startups together with established medium-sized, larger and internationally active companies."
Knowbody: The aim of Knowbody from Bochum is to revolutionize sex education in schools. Their app uses 3D animations, videos and games to create a safe and fun learning environment for students.
Talking Hands: The startup Talking Hands from Frankfurt/Main wants to promote inclusion in the education system with digital means. With innovative learning material, it builds a bridge between verbally and non-verbally communicating children and teaches them sign language in a playful way.
UPUCATE: UPUCATE from Munich aims for nothing less than the digitalization of the entire teaching cycle for teachers. Thanks to the digital platform for lesson preparation and, among other things, AI-based material, teachers are to save time in order to focus more on children's individual problems and improve their teaching.
Automaited: Automaited from Cologne develops an AI model that proactively transforms company process data into customized automation software. This does not require learning commands or writing code, rather the model allows companies to use natural language to instruct automations.
myScribe: myScribe, based in Mannheim offers medical documentation software that uses AI to fully automate the creation of doctor's notes during inpatient hospital stays. This enables medical staff to concentrate fully on medical work.
PlanerAI: With the aim of combating food waste and increasing retail sales, the startup PlanerAI from Großrinderfeld has developed an AI-based planning solution. It ensures that only what is actually needed is produced.
