The winners of the Innovators' Pitch 2023 come from Mannheim and Bochum: myScribe and Knowbody prevailed this evening in the competition for early stage startups at hub.berlin. The startups were able to convince the jury in the Artificial Intelligence and EdTech categories and will receive prize money of 10,000 euros each, among other things, at the award offered by Get Started, the startup initiative of the digital association Bitkom. "Artificial intelligence and digital offerings for education and training are two of the absolute top technology topics. All six finalists have shown that founders from Germany have ideas and solutions that don't have to hide from international competitors. myScribe and Knowbody not only convinced the experts on the jury, but also the audience at hub.berlin," says Daniel Breitinger, Head of Startups at Bitkom. "However, the Innovators' Pitch does not only want to award startups, but through the public pitch at hub.berlin, it also wants to bring together founders with SMEs and large, internationally active companies - not only from the digital industry, but from all industries. Cooperations are the key to successful digitalisation."
myScribe (Mannheim, Artificial Intelligence category): myScribe from Mannheim offers medical documentation software that uses AI to fully automate the creation of doctor's letters during inpatient hospital stays. This enables medical staff to concentrate fully on their medical work.
Knowbody (Bochum, EdTech category): Revolutionising sex education in schools is the goal of Knowbody from Bochum. Their app uses 3D animations, videos and games to create a safe and fun learning environment for pupils.
This year's 15th Innovators' Pitch is supported by Fiverr (Artificial Intelligence) and the Vodafone Foundation Germany (EdTech).
