Product-Neutral Tendering of Desktop PCs

This guideline provides an overview of the principles and criteria for the procurement of desktop PCs by public administrations. It is the result of the Desktop PC working group of the Bitkom e.V. Product-neutral Tenders Expert Committee. 

The aim of the document is to provide public sector customers in the federal, state, and local governments with reliable and comprehensible assistance so that they can formulate their tenders for the procurement of desktop PCs in a product-neutral manner, i.e., without using protected brand names or naming specific manufacturers, and considering current technical requirements.
