NIS Directive 2.0 – Bitkom Position for the EU Trilogue
Bitkom sees the imperative need for a more harmonised and future-proof cybersecurity framework and therefore welcomes the renewed NIS Directive. The already reached compromise strikes a reasonable balance between targeted regulatory interventions and strengthening the EU’s cyber-resilience holistically. However, entering the trilogue negotiations between the co-legislators, several crucial points require further consideration and respective amendments. For details, please take a look at our paper.
