The revision of the eIDAS Regulation on the creation of a uniform European Digital Identity (EUDI) is an important and major step for digital identities in Germany and Europe. Before the start of the trilogue negotiations at European level, it is still important to sharpen core issues of the regulation in order to increase the relevance and acceptance of the project among users.
