Bitkom appreciates the opportunity to provide feedback on the Roadmap “Taking the Customs Union to the next level“ and expresses its overall content. In order to turn the roadmap into a long-term customs union strategy, we issue a set of recommendations with regards to the risk-based customs management, and the necessary EU level playing field.
