Bitkom is Germany´s largest digital technology industry association and its foremost advocate before governments and in the global marketplace.

As a member-led organization, we work with and for our members and engage with policymakers on key issues. This is done with substance, and with the objective of promoting open markets and an innovation-friendly environment. The overarching goal of our efforts is to increase the attractiveness of Germany as a location for investment and job creation in the digital technology industry. Know-how & expertise

Each year, our members dispatch several thousand executives, entrepreneurs, experts, and innovators to the meetings of our committees. By providing our members a forum and by organizing a constant dialogue between tech experts, business executives, regulatory and legal professionals at our committee meetings and other events, both virtual and in-person, in Berlin, Brussels and across Germany, we connect our members with one another.

We are committed to creating a regulatory environment that fosters innovation and drives growth in the digital economy. Public Relations

We are the voice for the digital industry in Germany. Through our publications, such as studies and white papers, and their subsequent marketing, we help to raise awareness of our members’ expertise. In addition, we inform the broader public by serving as a leading resource on digital trends, technologies, policies, and related issues that affect member firms. We also demonstrate the importance of the industry to the wider economy.

Business

Bitkom has more than 2,200 member companies – including half of the 40 DAX companies and many other global players, around 1,000 high-performing SMEs and over 500 innovative tech startups. During our committee meetings and larger conferences, we bring together established member companies, startups, and providers and users of digital solutions. Consequently, as a member, you can establish and maintain valuable business contacts and position yourself in the new digital value creation ecosystems in the most relevant industries.
